I'm an Engineering Manager based near Madrid, Spain, with a background rooted in PHP development before moving into engineering leadership. For the past 13 years I've grown inside the same organization — now called Nextlane — working my way up from developer to supervisor, manager, and finally Engineering Manager since 2021.
Today I lead teams responsible for maintaining and modernizing a .NET legacy codebase while helping the organization grow its Node.js / TypeScript capabilities. I care about staying close enough to the technical details to genuinely understand my teams' problems, not just manage around them — which is a big part of why this site, and everything I tinker with under it, exists.
